For the last 10 - 15 years David is a man I have developed a healthy respect for. I obviously would struggle to repect his terrorist years and I don't agree with each and every one of his opinions, but for a long time he has been the only progressive voice in Unionism. I went to school with his son and have met the man on a number of occassions. He was a good neighbour of my elderly aunt whilst she was alive and I want to take this opportunity to wish him a speedy recovery!
