Evangelizing Parrot
Just when you think you've seen it all ... a story like this appears. In regards to the missing "preaching parrot" ... the following quotations are taken from an article in yesterday's Saskatoon Star Phoenix.

An Alberta man says the devil may have caused his sermonizing parrot to fly the coop last month--but he's hoping God will lead the bird home this weekend. The fire-and-brimstone preaching parrot, named Solomon, disappeared ... on August 3.

"I truly believe Satan terrorized him and he flew out of there so scared ..." said (the 51-year-old owner).

Solomon disappeared just weeks before he was to appear at a Christian jamboree in Coronation, Alberta, to recite a prayer inviting sinners to be saved.

"He was going to give an altar call just like Billy Graham. An altar call is when you invite people to come forward and accept Jesus Christ as their personal saviour," (the owner) said. Taken from Linsay Martens Blog

Question of the day
Why do I insist on filling the kettle to the brim every time I go to boil it? There's only two people in this house and ones not a frequent tea/coffee drinker. What a waste of electricity....
