Walk Don't Walk and Mel Wiggins still neck and neck in the Showcase!
Slice of Pie update...

It's oh-so-close in the Showcase, we almost can't bring ourselves to watch... Walk Don't Walk and Mel Wiggins continue to battle it out for the top spot, with Last Scene Falling and Daniela Bove in 3rd and 4th places respectively.

But don't forget that it is possible for all of the Artists from the Showcase to go on to raise Finance, if they can secure enough support. If you're frustrated with being dictated what to listen to, then have your say and vote now. It's up to you who goes through... Voting closes on Tuesday.

Mel has entered a singer / songwriter competition called Slice The Pie. She has the potential to win £15,000 to record and promote an album which would be her dreams come true (apart from her wedding day).

She is currently in second place with 15% of the overall vote. The band in first place have 16% of the vote, so she is really knocking at the door. The competition runs until the 10th of February I think.

Here’s what you do:

1. Register your email with www.slicethepie.com* 2. Go to the bit along the top that says 'showcases'* 3. Select 'All Genres 2'* 4. Select 'vote'.* 5. Find Mel on the list* 6. Click on Mel. If there is anything on there that asks you to buy any shares or backstage passes, you don't have to and it will not effect the votes, although it may make Mel look worthy enough of support if she’s seen to have people willing to invest in her.
