Rumour has it that I’m considering changing my car again. Well there is a certain truth to this I have to confess. A friend of a friend has offered me the chance to buy a 2.8 V6 brut of a thing. I’m not convinced as yet that it’s for me as amongst other things my initial insurance quote was for £800. That’s double what I’m paying at the moment and that is with 6+ years of protected no claims bonus. However yesterday I came across confused.com and they quoted me £388. That’s over 50% of a saving – unbelievable. The car I’m considering is a whopping group 16 insurance, can you imagine how cheap a group 5 car would be to insure? What am I thinking!
