The prodigal bin.....
Thank the lord, our friend "William" the wheelie bin returned safely from his travels last night. For Jane and I it was a little bit of a prodigal son moment were we were overjoyed to see him home safe and well! Our distress was caused last week when William went AWOL without as much as a farewell note or even evidence of a struggle, kidnapping or theft. Thankfully, he was spotted late yesterday evening standing out on the street alone and a little distance away from our house. Whilst exhibiting a few marks and bruises he seems to be recovering quite well from his trauma! The lesson learnt...... always brand your bin, keep an eye on it and avoid the council charging you 40 - 50 quid for its replacement!

A word of appreciation:- For the two new back tyres on my car - strangely enough she handles a heck of a lot better!
