A memorable moment with Jackie…
I came across this wee gem involving Jackie Full-o-Himself (Sorry Fullerton – an old joke I couldn’t resist) and Giant Haystacks the other day and it made me laugh. I actually remember watching it as a kid live and being shocked that Haystacks actually did it! I then wanted him to go on and finish the job. Note the lack of a landing mat and the anxious silence as Jackie tries to gather himself. It's the "Thanks very much Mr Haystacks" makes me laugh everytime - TV gold if ever I've seen it!
