Made me laugh!!
I was sitting in the South Stand on Saturday watching the Belfast Linfield and as happy as a pig in muck. Made even more so by the fact that my nephew was sitting beside me and whilst only 6 he was heavily into it. The game itself was ok, Linfield never really managed to get into a gear beyond third and the play was a little bit dirty. A Donegal Celtic player went down after a tackle like a sack of spuds and rolled like he had jumped from a high speed train. He then punched and kicked the ground as if he was in more pain than a torture victim. The crowd went silent as we waited for him to gather himself and for the game to presume. Suddenly Kyle who had been quiet and focused on the game stood up and shouted “Stand up – you’re fakin it!!” Well perhaps you had to be there but the immediate supporters around us laughed and I’ve been chuckling about it ever since…
