An Anneline-ism…
My mum, the best mum in the world is called Anneline, and sometimes she comes out with quite unusual expressions which are often humorous. Whilst walking round our house tonight I heard her say “That’s a bumper job!!” I don’t know about you but I don't remember hearing anyone else say that except my mum… Cool! I love it when you identify special little things you associate to your loved ones.


Actually now that I’ve thought about it for a while perhaps the use of the word “bumper” is a throw back to the 70’s. I remember (just about) having books as a child called “The Big Bumper Colouring in book” and “Big Daddy’s Bumper Book of Jokes”. Big Daddy was of course the best wrestler of all time for those young ones out there!
