14 months later and 10 countries further we have decided at petemartin.org to lessen the profile of “Where’s ma blues hat?” I really should have listened to my geography teacher and with asking this question you can see why I got a “D” in my GCSE but how many conti
nents did it reach? And how many is there, 5, 6, 7 I don’t know? The 10 countries it was seen in include:Spain
Scotland
U.S.A
Ukraine
Thailand
England
China
Hungary
United Arab Emirates
Northern Ireland
A project full of fun and adventure we want to acknowledge and thank all of those who took part. These hat modeling travelers included Carol Henderson, JT, Stuart Buchanan, Dave Parkinson, Rachel Kirk, Angela Martin, Debs Erwin, and Emma Duncan. The hat reached some interesting places around the world and in fact became more broadly traveled than myself… Who would have thought that journey the hat made would be so diverse to include such places as the Millennium Bridge in Gateshead, Dubai, Budapest and the USA. Appropriately the Linfield Football Club hat which we all grew to love started its journey from Windsor Park, Belfast and finished with the latest and last photo being taken in Malaga Football Clubs home the Rosaleda Stadium, Spain.
Whilst this isn’t closure of the project and the hat is still available to those of you who fancy taking it with you on your travels we will be giving it less prominence in the life of petemartin.org… Could there be a new project in the offing?
