A stained soul?
A British field marshal whilst speaking with the British & US battalions in Iraq was quoted by the press today as saying - “ Have no mercy on them, they’ve stained souls……..” Flip might he be in for a surprise when God’s through with him! It really made me angry when I thought through the following questions:-

Who armed Saddam during the Iraq/Iran war and then put him into power?
Answer: The USA!

Who gave him the finance to build the infrastructure of his empire?
Answer: France amongst others!

Who sold him the chemicals and weapons of mass destruction?
Answer: Britain, America and most other Western European countries!

Who has a stained hypocritical soul?
Answer:

Another thing that recently got right under my skin was the realisation that Afghanistan and its new government was promised 5 billion after the war to rebuild itself. So far it has only received 1.5 billion and the rest does not look like its going to arrive. Its citizens continue to starve and die. Aid agencies like Tear Fund estimate that it’s going to take more like 15 billion to resolve the country’s problems! Maybe IF war is the best answer we should remain focused and dismantle and rebuild just one country at a time. This hopefully stopping the influences of poverty and injustice from raising yet another monster!
